Our volunteers are key actors in achieving our mission to create a space for courageous conversations and incentivizing constructive community-building through the arts.
As the largest non-collecting organization that is committed to the work of living artists in the State of Alabama, Alabama Contemporary requires volunteers to assist at the front desk, during Art Walk, our educational programs, and in special events.
Whether you volunteer because you want to be more active in the community, you love the art, you love the people, you love the institution, or love Downtown Mobile, please let us know what is important to you so we can find a good fit.
We are currently looking for volunteers of all ages and abilities. Volunteers ages 13–17 must provide the name and contact information of a parent or legal guardian so that we can verify permission.
