Theater Character & Costume Creation (Ages 11-15)
Your child can experience the transformative effect of contemporary art! ACAC is offering an opportunity for creative students to create and play using everyday objects and experiment with different art mediums.
Act it up! This camp, led by theater teacher Stephen French and artist and costume designer Courtney Matthews, will focus on exploring emotions through theatrical exercises and creating fun costumes. Students will create their own authentic character, and imagine their wardrobe, make-up, and staging. Bring your personality out and learn to express yourself through theater and acting! The camp is specially crafted for students ages 11-15 years old and limited to ten students in order to provide one-on-one art education.
Art Camp is held Monday through Friday; the camp ends on Friday with a reception featuring the work of the campers.
*Campers must bring a lunch and snack every day to eat during supervised breaks. Avoid peanut products.
*All materials and instruction are covered in the class fee.
