Printmaking Summer Camp (Ages: 5-8)

Let your child explore the world of contemporary art through Alabama Contemporary Summer Camps! Inspired by the many printmaking techniques seen in the artwork of Back to Havana, campers will learn the basics of printmaking before exploring new applications such as monotypes, collographs and block prints.

Recycled Art Summer Camp (Ages: 9-12)

Innovation and resourcefulness can be seen all over the island of Cuba as people and businesses solve everyday problems with the materials they have available. In the spirit of “doing more with less”, campers will collaborate on projects that utilize traditionally discarded and overlooked materials while learning how to be more environmentally responsible.
