Basics of Handbuilding Ceramics

Thursdays, 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.

In this Thursday night beginners’ ceramics class, instructor Kyle Miller guides students through introductory handbuilding techniques – pinch pot, slab, coil, and beginner sculpture – to create functional ceramic ware.

Students will create and glaze handmade pieces while exploring different decorating techniques over the course of the six-week workshop.

This workshop will meet each Thursday from September 29 to November 3, 2022, from 5:30 pm – 8 pm.

Registration is $200 or $160 for ACAC members

• This workshop is for adult students only. You must be 18+ to register
• Due to equipment availability, this workshop is limited to 8 students and will be subject to cancellation if minimum attendance requirements are not met.
