Sunprints: Workshop w/ Micah Mermilliod
Spring into April for a stimulating afternoon of printmaking.
Learn about the history of Cyanotypes while enjoying an afternoon of exploration, experimentation, and creative expression.
The cyanotype photographic process involves exposing botanical objects onto pre-coated, light-sensitive paper. These ‘photograms’ are exposed using sunshine and are developed using water. No harsh chemicals are used. Participants will create up to five 9″x12″ Cyanotypes of their own which can be the perfect gift, print, greeting card, or gift tag. Cyanotypes have a characteristic ‘cyan’ or blue color and are ‘archival’, meaning they won’t fade or deteriorate over time.
Masks will be required for all workshop participants! Workshops will also be limited to 10 participants each to allow for social distancing.
This workshop will meet Saturday, April 16th from 1 pm – 4 pm. Registration is $60 or $30 for ACAC members
